Jazz bass knobs

I am trying to put Jazz Bass knobs on my new Jazz Bass with EMG pots and they aren't fitting very well. Any ideas on how I can make them fit better (go down more)?

You need knobs that fit the particular EMG pots that you have. Dependent on which ones they are will determine the diameter and style of fitting. You then require a knob to match.
