Here's one of my first bass builds

* Swamp Ash with figured Maple top and Warmoth applied Midnight Wine finish
* Maple/Ebony fretboard with headstock veneer and gold 61GD fretwire
* Nordstrand NJ4SE (neck) and MM4.4 quadcoil with Series/Single/Parallel coil tap (bridge)
* 18v U-Retro Deluxe preamp
* Dunlop strap locks
* Gotoh 206 thru-body bridge
* Gold hardware
* Copper foil shileding in all cavities

I like the finish! Is that Transparent red on Quilt Maple, or is it a custom color?

The body was a Showcase item, and I have not seen any standard color like this available on the Warmoth site. In person, the color is almost identical to looking thru a glass of fine Merlot
