Combo of both an impossibility to display colors on screen/not matching gender material perfectly and the fact that every Strat shaped object ends up with slightly different hole patterns?

I have a Dimarzio Injector loaded guard intended for an American Strat and on an American Standard body one screw hole is just off. I don’t care about redrilling but I bet for those that want to swap white for pearl and modify nothing else it’s a bummer.

Question Aaron, you have a great eye for color and designs. What color bodies would you use the the new colored (gem) pearl Pickguards on? Anything other than black and white? Maybe silver?

Geez...that is such an enormous question that depends on a million things, including what kind of look you are shooting for (high contrast, monochrome, modern, vintage, etc.) and your personal taste.
