He is doing work like of lot us here putting together Warmoth guitars for customers. I like his attention to details and making sure he delivers to his customers a very playable instrument.
I took lessons from Dave several years ago and one of the cool tricks I learned from him was how to polish out a raw neck using 2000 grit wet/dry paper, which has become known around these parts as Burnishing Raw Necks. So you could say he has had a big influence here indirectly. I don't think he has time to hang out on guitar forums as he is very busy with his store and gigging. He is really a great guy and one of the finest guitar players I have ever had the chance to hang with. He is a monster fusion player and his grasp of harmony is pretty scary.
The last time I talked to Dave he was saying he wanted a Tele and had talked to me about finishing a body he had laying around the shop that some one gave him but it was definitely not as nice as that piece.
