Iron-on wooden veneer?

Anbody tried this? There's a beautiful bit of quilted bubinga I can get my hands on in a perfect guitar-sized single piece but it's only 0.6mm thick (~0.02")! Would have to go on a flat-top, I guess. Anyone any experience of cutting these things (or even routing through) or is it a non-starter?

EDIT - I should add, I'm toying with the idea of cutting my own body from a blank, not topping a Warmoth body.

iron-on veneers should not be used for guitar building ... unless you're looking for a temporary solution and willing to pay the price of an enormous clean-up effort.

all the best,
