Hey everyone. I more or less finished some guitar projects i've been working on for a bit with my dad and grandpa.  my grandpa is a retired carpenter and happens to have a ridiculous stash of wood and a nice big shop that begged for guitars to be built. throw on a warmoth neck and a bunch of other parts and here are my first three strats.
two are walnut and one's mahogany. interestingly enough the two walnut were made from the same board, but one was finished with tung oil and one with tru-oil. the result is completely different looking guitars.  anyways. hope you enjoy a couple pictures :eek:ccasion14:

Those are some fine-looking instruments! You did a good job, and should be proud.

Those look nice, all of them.

The forearm contour, is that a vintage thing or just a custom touch you wanted? They look larger than normal

Thanks for the kind words.
the forearm contour is definitely bigger than normal, especially walnut with the koa pickguard.  the first mahogany one is a lot closer to a standard forearm cut, but i find the one on the walnut more comfortable for me.
the one in the middle is done with tung oil.  the other two both have tru oil.  The left guitar has more coats and got quite a bit glossier as a result.
