Installing the bridge.

Hey everbody. My current project is a neck thru V type guitar. Up to this point I have always ordered bodies from Warmoth with all the routing done. This time I am doing the routing and I need help on determining where to locate the bridge.

Easy peasy.

1.  Keep it centered, using strings (fishing line works) on the neck to make sure its centered.
2.  Measure the scale location from another guitar - OF THE SAME SCALE LENGTH - and you're set to go

OK, well it sure sounds easy. But I like to make simple things complicated!  :toothy10:

So if the neck is a 25.5 in scale, would I measure from the fretboard side of the nut 25.5 inches and center the bridge there to allow adjustment in both directions?
Also, this is a Tonepros bridge and I see they are usually mounted at an angle. Is there any rule to this?

Thanks!

Usually the high e is the string that gets closest to said scale length, in your case 25.5, so not exactly centered, but very close going a bit in the end strap button direction.
