**NOTE ..... This is for Scartozi's Bridge replacement, for 6 Hole Vintage Tremolo.

1st … Buy a Scartozi Bridge, or two  :icon_thumright:  …… Need to PM him about this if interested.

2nd … Grab one guitar to work on, with a 6 hole tremolo

3rd … No need for a Cold Slab of Beer …. It doesn't take that long to do and is very easy.  :cool01:

As these are New ....
This was a Test run on one of my guitars, Pic's will save typing to much garble …… blarrh blarrh blarrh

I haven't put in, as yet, a piece of thin wood between the Block & Trem cavity wall (will see in pic) but need a better piece yet.
But will be doing that too. Just for more solid contact from block to body.
Plus using 5 springs connected to block, this guitar originally had 3 springs (2 angled) using the Tremolo.
Still need springs etc connected for the earthing, NOT pulled tight thou !!

Works fine as is, and sits perfectly without the use of a wooden block.  :icon_thumright:

I started by taking & writing down a few measurements here and there.
(Probably didn't really need too …. better safe than sorry)
This was made real easy for me thou, as I hadn't touched my GK-3 pickup at all and I knew all the
strings sit 1mm from the GK-3 individual hex pup's. Which the whole pup is sitting around 18 - 20 radius.
So all I had to do was get the heights back to that.
Just made setting saddle heights etc real easy doing on this one.

I installed the Graph Tech saddles and got them measured back up to my original intonation measurements.
Well as close as possible ….. before stringing up.
As I didn't want to scratch / mark the aluminium when moving them to far….. blarrh blarrh blarrh
(Noted from other Scartozi posts)

Haven't done a Tone / Sound comparison, will be doing some recording with this setup and then when I change it back to the Trem.
That's the BEST way to get a real comparison. (just got to many guitars to remember which each sounds like)

But will report back in this thread about that ….
As I know many will be interested.
That dose seem to be the main point some people talk about.

BUT ...  :icon_scratch:
I'm not sure, if at all, there would be to much Tone / Sound difference as the strings are still going though the same
Trem Block, over the same Graph Tech Saddles or alike.
PLUS ..
With only a 8 gram weight difference's between these two bridges.
I tend to think there will be little difference / change to Tone.

Weight of Original 6 Hole Vintage Trem + Block with Original Saddles ….. 325 grams
(Not including 6 mounting screws)

Weight of Scartozi 6 Hole Replacement Bridge + Block with Graph Tech Saddles …… 317 grams
(Not including 6 mounting screws)

Just showing all these facts & pic's for those that aren't sure how this works.

Sorry if I've gone overboard with pic's  :toothy11:  ...... It's just the way I do things  :laughing7:

Updown, That looks real nice.

You help me a lot with the ideas of installing the G3 on my previous build.  You'll probably remember me asking all kinds (probably dumb) questions about mounting.

Well, looking at your pictures I couldn't help but think if the Scartozi bridge was extended a bit further you could mounted the pickup directely to the bridge.  For your build it wasn't necessary as you already had it hard munted to the boday.  But, it might be a cool option on the bridge for those starting a new build.  Just a thought for the Scartozi Bridge....
