Time to get the 2112 & Hemispheres jams on!
Actually the other week when I had one available for a bit, there was quite a bit of The Jam

Started working on the bass lick for Down in the Tube Station at Midnight

I play "In the City" to celebrate the first "hot" day of summer every year.

Your Rick is no disgrace... which means Yours is no Disgrace by Yes, is another essential Rick song.

Alright, another Yes fan! I was talking about music to a "twenty-something" guy a few weeks ago, and he never heard of them. "You never heard 'Fragile', or 'Close to the Edge'", I asked incredulously? His response: "Never heard what?" I felt so old.....  :confused4:

Sorry for the hijack, carry on.

It's not only an age thing, I'm twice his age and when I see a Ric I associate it with bands like the Jam and of course Lemmy. The trebly sound of a Ric makes it the ideal punk bass. Also, even though I play bass with my fingers, a Ric screams for a pick to get that sound.

I'm almost 50 and can't name but a couple of Yes and Rush tunes. At least I've liked the Yes I've heard.

Here's some more Ricky - I think a 4001.

It's the band Warpaint, a live "In Studio" version of "Whiteout" from 2016 album "Heads Up".

Think I read somewhere bass player Jenny Lee Lindberg got it 'coz of Lemmy….

Ricks are also the go-to bass for the doom/stoner scene where everything is tuned way down (anywhere from C standard to A standard).

Got its first stage time Thurs and Sun. It totally delivered the goods.  I want to work out a new patch for it using the ROS.
