Incoming NGD

Incoming NGD. At least new to me. Used Jackson PC1 with a sustainer.

Was going to build something for this, but was able to pick this up used for less than the cost of building one.

2 current guitars will be leaving. Need to get busy posting, I have 5 I am selling along with a Fractal system.

I love the PC-1. What finish did you get? Mine is an older one (pre Fender headstock) in 'Au Natural'.

Have not tried it. The plan is for tonight or tomorrow. Plan to use it on songs where I use an eBow now.

Having never used a Sustainer, but a big fan of Ebow, do you have to give up the regular neck pickup sound for the device?

Supposedly not. Granted it might not be the best sounding neck pup though as I understand. When the unit is off, it functions as a passive single coil. I am needing to do chords at times, which the ebow doesn't handle well. Also tired of accidently kicking the ebow out of reach while on stage.

Okay briefly gave it a run through this AM. Sustainer system works great. A bit of a learning curve I think to know where you want to set the intensity control for your desired effect.

Neck pup is fine. No it doesn't equal the neck pup in my CS 57 Strat, but it is totally usable. Not a dog at all.

Well it passes the sniff test. Gave it a bit of a run this AM. So far it is a keeper. Playability is good, but learning where to set the intensity knob for your particular desired effect at that time is a learning curve that I should be able to tackle in a couple hours. Still need to bond more, but its a keep and 2 are going on the block this weekend.
