Fresh out the mailbox after a 3 month wait; New body from Warmoth!

One piece Mahogany body
Inca Silver top, natural back, black binding.
Routed for P90s and a Hipshot hardtail bridge.

This build is inspired by the pop-punk producer Jerry Finn's Fender Tele Jrs that he collected and used in the studio until his passing. (Though those were set neck).

For a a painted body with binding Warmoth quotes 17-18 weeks. This shipped 12 weeks to the day! Thank you Warmoth, it's stunning. Lots of fun figuring in the mahogany that really explodes in the light.

The neck is from Musikraft. Mahogany/Indian Rosewood. '69 U Custom Shop profile. Jumbo stainless frets. They fit great and even match visually pretty closely aside from the gloss v matte finishes. I can't wait to start working on this.

Visually, I took inspiration from one of Matt Bellamys Mansons that he only used from 2006 to 2007 before it was accidentally destroyed on stage 😂.

Stay tuned for updates!

First night.
Got the pickup screws drilled out. Control plate installed, as well as the output jack. So far so good.

Just admiring the one piece mahogany here. Don't mind me!

Next will likely be to hammer in the ferrules (tips?) and get the tuners installed on the neck. After that it's just strap buttons and electronics.

I was also admiring the one piece mahogany! The body I am waiting for has the same, also finished clear, and I can only hope mine is as gorgeous as yours!
