In search of....

Last year around this time when I did my first build someone posted up some photos of this orange Strat with a white scratch plate. Anyone reading through here nowadays know which thread it was? Nonsense, how about you? I did a search for Orange and orange strat and they just came up with a bunch of stuff that I wasn't looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice. I like that. But this one was a Warmoth build and it was orange, I mean really orange. The kind of orange that you'd think wouldn't look good on a guitar but, man, it was nice.

I'm gonna say Safety orange......it could have been a candy color though. It was just about this time last year when I was doing my build.

Nope, wasn't a General Lee. It had an orange body with a white pick guard. I seem to think that the photo was taken outside on a deck or something like that.

Very nice looking guitar there. I see you use bubble wrap to hold the bridge in place. I use chopsticks. hahahaha!!

i remember that orange strat! i was dying to build a Charvel-style orange strat with a black pickguard, and i photoshopped that white pickguard to black to see what it might look like  :icon_biggrin:  very very cool color.
