I'm so Impatient!

Yeah I ordered a baritone LP neck built from scratch +  finished a ways back. I try to avoid thinking about it, and sitting by the window like a cat, hoping this is the day UPS brings it to me... better I not think about the 10-12 weeks I was quoted.

worst thing ever my neighbor gets a UPS truck delivery basically every single freakin' day

i was dying here even knowing warmoth would withdraw from my account before shipping, it didnt matter

what if they made a clerical error and shipped my stuff without charging me??????? AAAAAAAAA

Your wait is nearly at an end!!  Wahoo!  soon you will have no more use for this thread!

... Good things come to those who wait ...

... and I'm still waiting ...  So this had better be freakin' awesome!

They just shipped my neck and body!!!  Are there any other Canadians who have ordered stuff who could tell me how long it took to ship?

When I order mine I'm gonna completely brainwash myself to forget all about it. THAT being said, I have been cooking this up for about 5 years and I've never called. I'm literally TERRIFIED to dial that number and see what happens.

:sad1: seriously scared

My completely custom down to the last detail neck finished in vintage tint gloss took only 7weeks from the day I ordered.

My unfinished body picked out of the show case painted gloss black and routed to my choice took only 3 weeks.

The last neck I bought was already built, but had to be fretted (stainless) and finished (vintage gloss). Took 6 weeks to get here, but over a week of that was spent trudging across the US from Washington to Michigan. I choose UPS ground shipping, but I think they used a mule train. I order stuff from Newegg in CA all the time and get it in 3 days.

The last body came out of the showcase and I didn't have any mods done to it at all. Still took 2 weeks+, again most of which was shipping time.

Now, literally the Only Piece I Await is actually two pieces of Tortis, custom size, thickness and finish, straight from Colette at Tortoiseworks herself.  She sounded so frazzled on the phone, however, I don't mind waiting a bit longer... :icon_biggrin:
