So I just ordered a new guitar body and neck from Warmoth a week ago and I'm really excited for it to get here... and I know that it is going to take some time...  So how long did it take for you guys to get your guitar parts?  Were they finished?  What state / province do you live in?

I'm with you Bro. Just ordered my first Warmoth product about 10 days ago. A Wenge neck with Ebony finger board for my old White Strat. Wondering how long it takes. I'm figuring it takes a while but it would be nice if someone could give us some personal history.

I've looked all over Warmoth site and even emailed the crew but haven't heard a word about a timeline. I guess I'm just a bit excited. I've about wore the frets off my Strat and am looking forward to hearing it get some new life.

My first post, BTW, also. LOL

:rock-on:

Brian Eckels from Warmoth was nice enough to contact me and he said probably early Feb. I CAN"T WAIT!!!! So yeah, about 5 weeks on the neck. Not sure about a body.

I'm in the raffle too so hopefully kharma is on my side as I'd love a Jaguar with a Baritone neck. Or maybe a LP - a Frampton Black Beauty.  :toothy10:

relax, this year the raffle will be mine :P  :laughing7:

I bet if I keep coming back here and reading posts and making posts that my guitar will get finished more quickly

On the Wenge/Ebony neck, it may arrive a little faster because no finish is involved.  My last 2 builds have been since the eco went bad, and I got them faster than promised.  I guess because there were fewer orders to fill.

I ordered a body and neck from the Showcase during the Anniversary Sale and requested the body to be painted.  I still have not received them yet.  I think it all depends if your order falls into their factory production schedule especially for paint work.  The trick is to make an order and forget about it until one day your receive a surprise email from UPS Quantum View.

I am in the same boat as you Unwound...placed my order the week before christmas.  The holidays helped me forget about it for a while, but now I find myself logging in to the warmoth site every day to see if anything has changed!!  :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10: :blob7: :blob7: :blob7: :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10:

I find that I'm on the Warmoth page every day too... you know.. just in case...  I'm also hovering around my e-mail just to see if they have sent me anything... It hasn't even been a month yet!  I need another hobby...

i've got all my parts except a neck plate (of all things)! i'm so tempted to start it anyway. i could find a neck plate to put on it for now, but i've got some things to do before it gets here (drilling holes for the pickguard screws and installing the last of the hardware to the body, as well as putting the tuners on the neck).

About a month for both my body and neck. The body was finished but the neck wasn't and i know someone who works at Warmoth so he took it home with him and i pick it up from his house and didn't have to pay for shipping  but it is an exciting wait. and when you finally see/play your guitar you'll say, "I can't believe i own this!"

Sigh... LUCKY!  well I'm working up on a month soon here... maybe it'll be done one of these days...    I was doing so good too!  I had put the thoughts of a new warmoth in the back of my mind and then yesterday the pickups that I ordered came so it re-ignited the excitement.

I got a neck from the showcase, had it finished (clear gloss), fretted and it took from order (dec25th) to day i received it (jan28th)
34 days total, but really more like under 4 weeks, since there was a bunch of holidays and weekends to wait for.

Yeah I ordered a baritone LP neck built from scratch +  finished a ways back. I try to avoid thinking about it, and sitting by the window like a cat, hoping this is the day UPS brings it to me... better I not think about the 10-12 weeks I was quoted.
