I'm new, and I have one question

Okay, so I was planning on making a sick faded blue VIP body, with a black korina body wood, and all chrome hardware with a Gotoh 510 hardtail, and just some standard PRS pots and switches with coil taps, with a solid Indian rosewood strat with pearloid binding, and abalone dots everywhere (currently on order  :glasses9 and I've realized that when I was checking the options and etc, the option for recessed control routs aren't an option, no matter what I choose. Am I missing something, because I've seen google images of warmoth bodies with the recessed options, and they were DL tops too.

The option, along with some of the bridge choices, disappeared from the builder a while back. I would have said that this coincided when double-lam tops became mandatory. If the top lamination became thinner at that time, I guess that would rule out the recessed control option with any transparent finish.

Some of the above is just speculation, so best thing is to give Warmoth a call or shoot them an email.

Yes, do call them as the staff over the phone are very good. I've had not completely dissimilar questions in the past and was told to enter the particular request in the comments section of my order. Sure that is not the cure for everything but give them a call and welcome to the forum.

Recessed controls were not available with DL tops when both types of tops were offered.
