I'm leaving the forum/bulletin board

and not to mention that moderators on other forums i've been on are as young as 15 or 16.
I hate those 16 and 15 year olds. How about you, Connor and Smard?

max, you're an exception. but really, the douche bags they put in charge on other sites just use the ability to ban people for whenever they don't agree. if i had been given the ability to just kick people from a site when i was 15 i probably would have too, which is why mods shouldn't be so young. or should at least be evaluated for some reasoning skills.

anyway, ultimate-guitar.com has a pretty decent forum. i've seen some professional musicians in the forums, and people such as the guy who runs ormsby guitars and a few other luthier sites. the people can be helpful, and i see warmoth parts mentioned or suggested about once a day  :icon_biggrin:  the only thing i dislike is their hatred for gibson. i'm not a huge gibson fan myself, but seeing gibson bashed by people who have no idea why they're bashing it is really annoying. but i guess there's something like that on every forum.

i think here the biggest forum pet peeve is sticking a "Fender" sticker on a warmoth neck.

the fender headstock is fine, since they're fender licensed. and i'm not sure why somebody would put a warmoth logo on a fender neck  ???  unless it were a squier neck and they wanted to scam some ebay-ers.

Don't overthink it. Think about who's saying it.

:dontknow: you got me max. i have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. i guess you could put a W logo on a fender neck if you wanted? unless by fender neck you mean a warmoth neck with a fender-style headstock. i'd still call that a warmoth neck, myself.

anyway, i just saw a good example of bad forum etiquette. a guy went step by step through how he repaired the lifting bridge on an old acoustic and some dude posted immediately afterwards with just "um... ok?"

i don't know why people feel the need to be so negative in forums.
