If you like a neck that has a locking nut, but you don't like locking nuts?

I have this neck that I like, it's attached to this musiclander body.  I like the neck, and I like the body.  The body has a floyd Rose trem; I like the trem.  The neck has a locking nut; god I hate that thing. Is there something that can be put in the nut, should I want to replace the (now normal) tuners with locking tuners?

Also, the 13-year old boy that I used to be is giggling at "locking nuts."

You can replace the locking nut with an ebonol conversion nut.  Here's a video for de-floyding a neck:

Ebonol nuts have at times been available through Allparts, but I don't see it there right now.

That nut seems to be MIA. A luthier can build up the nut shelf with matching fretboard wood and install a regular nut.  A Gibson style nut can also be installed. I've seen that in action but I can't attest to the long term performance of it. There's also various rollernuts that can be used.
