If You Had All The Money In The World

I'd buy a Fender Aerodyne-inspired Warmoth.

Black Telecaster with cream binding, black hardware, ebony neck, forearm contour.

Yum!

I'd have Hannaugh's LP, DBW's LP, and I'd have Tonar, CB, Mayfly, and some other guys helping me get a few rigs. Oh, I'd have DbU's amps. And Tonar's. And Mayfly's. And CB's. And the guitars.

No cheating :icon_biggrin: .

I think I have pretty much everything I "need" already, but if money weren't an issue, I'd like a Gecko bass neck made of yellowheart with ebony laminates.

Also, as impractical as it sounds, I'd also like a double-neck Gecko bass body.  :)

ok then, if I had to pick something now:

Need more proof that you don't need all the money in the world?  Max has 1 Warmoth with a second on the way with a Tonar finish.  Connor has one and lives in Australia and has to deal with shipping and the exchange rate.  I built my 1st with money I received from scrapping metal, and my 2nd and 3rd solely from gig money.

Oh, I'd like to add to my collection.....

Martin 000-28EC
Taylor custom

Music Man Stingray bass
Music Man Sterling bass

I'm surprised no one has taken the 'philanthropic' route: Build an R&D center next to Warmoth to accelerate the availability of things we now wish for, like TOM/string-thru carved tops (hint hint).

Oh, and a house next to that, since that's where we'd go to work every day. Just to keep an eye on the place  :toothy10:

If I had the cash, I'd go to Shibuya, to the ESP Craft House, and sit down with an order form and not blink. Or cry. ESP customs are mind-bogglingly expensive, but worth it.

While I was in Tokyo, I'd host a free Shakalabbits concert at the Budokan, reserving the best seat for myself. Oh, and The Wildhearts and Jason and the Scorchers would be on the bill, too!

Note to self: buy lottery tickets...

Funding a R&D facility is NOT very philanthropic, unless...

Now that's philanthropy.

Don't forget Nando. He lives in a country with some of the worst taxes I've heard of, and still has EXACTLY what he wanted.

If I had all the money in the world, I would go to GC and buy every Behringer bass amp and every Daisy Rock guitar and have a bonfire.

haha I've actually played 2 Minutes 2 Midnight live with this guitar: http://www.drumza.com/images/WashburnHannahMontana34SizeElectricGuitar.jpg

I couldn't play half the solo because the thing was just unplayable. It did sound decent through my friend's Line 6 half stack though :icon_biggrin: .

Warmoth:

Black korina firebird with P90s
12 string hollow VIP with F-holes
Burl top thinline Tele
Tobacco burst chambered Strat with F-hole

1-pickup dinky P-bass
Small gecko 5-string, haven't decided the wood yet

That will do for now...

Non- Warmoth

Status Electro-4, 5-string
Warwick Infinity 5-string
Gibson Nighthawk

A soundproofed room, and some high quality earplugs.

Edit: Oh, and a Squier Hello Kitty Strat

Some good choices in here.
My dreams:

One piece Swamp Ash V body, Spalted Maple Top. Black Binding.
Back dyed see thru brown, top is clear.

Schaller Floyd, 2 hums, Vol Vol Three way toggle.
I'd love to have the output jack on the underside of the top horn, like on the Jacksons.

Goncalo Alves neck, 24 fret Pau Ferro fretboard, Spalted headstock, reverse Jackson, maybe the Hetfeild, Lawrence headstock might look cool too...reversed! No Inlays, Black Binding with the cool oblong side position markers that the Gecko has.

HOOK IT UP! AND TURN IT UP!

Buying this wouldn't take all the money in the world...just an extra grand or so.
