I think a certain guitar would match well with this!  :o

Now... if only I could get that grill cover with another Limited Edition Marshall Class 5 color, I'd be all over that like a Spitfire on a '109:

Sigh, blessed with creative vision - but generally without the cash to ever do anything about it.

I find it odd that UK made Marshall amps cost more in the UK than in the US? The regular version of the Marshall Class 5 costs U.S. $399, but it's 312 quid (ca. U.S. $509) on that website, that just seems odd?

Some stencils and some paint and you've got your own custom grill cover!

I really do like those though.

It is, surely theres some sort of wierd-ass tax-thing involved. I dont get it either.

Example: I had a pint of Guinness that was more expensive at a joe-average pub literally a block away from the Guinness brewery itself than it is
in London; an ocean, another country, and a 45min plane trip away. Makes no sense to me.  :dontknow:

The extra dough is for (unfortunately) socialism.

It's primarily because the UK is run by corrupt rich people who specialise in syphoning money from the majority of the poor populace to pay for the luxuries of the select few, compounded by said populace being unable to lawfully campagin against it. I very much doubt that any of that extra cash goes to Marshall, but ends up in the hands of the government somewhere along the line.

Keep politics away Lizard, otherwise your walking into a Shiticane. I wrote my thesis at least partly on anarchism in Spain, and find it odd when people use the S word with little concept of what it actually means.

Bold words from someone who uses a Simpsons character

Seriously - try decaf, kid.  :icon_thumright:

ON TOPIC:

The green Marshall looks great, too bad I don't play Marshalls... :)

Lovely amps there, and yupp the VAT (Value Added Tax) we have here pretty much is to the goverment as much as i can tell,
which is now at 20%, Dang it!, building a new computer, to get to 750 budget with vat, about 150 of it is for vat not computer parts.

Cheers!

Yeah, went in to the local Guitar Center and played a Class 5 for a bit - Holy F are they LOUD.

By far the loudest 5W amp I've heard, I'm pretty sure its a bit louder than my Blackstar HT5 mini stack (but,
auditioned in different environments, so I can't do an apples-to-apples comparison). Of course I'm all about
the Marshall tone as Marshall = 'Maiden (and a lot of other kick-ass bands). But I digress, nothing but a
dream unless some monetary windfall drops in my lap.

True,
The (and i use this term lightly and with regret) windfall that made it possible for me to get my warmoth, id much rather have gone without my warmoth
But hopefully you will get a much nicer circumstances windfall  :)
