I have an Ibanez SR405 (bass) that I have never loved the sound of, but when you tweak the EQ on it, you get a sound that would be amazing for a fretless. But if I am going to make it a fretless, I would much rather replace the neck and thrown an ebony/wenge neck on there.
I called and asked today, and Warmoth can't make me a replacement neck, so I am wondering if there is any company that will.
