Not sure if this is the correct section but I'm new to Warmoth, although I have been an avid browser for a year or so. Anyway, let's say theoretically I order an Iceman body, would I be able to put an existing Ibanez neck on it? If so I would have to choose the tele shape for the body, am I correct? Thanks for any help!

the iceman uses a set neck right?
if its an RG neck it would have to depend on what year itd from

warmoth is licensed by fender, and therefore, their necks will be built to fender bolt on specifications. The only way to be sure that the neck will work is if it fits these dimensions here... http://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/Necks/NeckHeelMounting.aspx Even then the distance from the nut to the bridge may not be correct. When you have a neck that fits those dimensions measure from the nut to the bridge and make sure that you get 25 1/2 inches.

You need to measure the distance from the bottom edge of the neck pocket to the bridge on your Ibanez, and e-mail Warmoth to find out the distance from the bottom edge of their neck pocket to the bridge (unless someone here has a dis-assembled Warmoth of the right scale length who will measure... :toothy10:) Warmoth necks are undercut to a certain amount, and Ibanez necks are all over the place depending on the model. Most of them I've seem have a fingerboard that's the exact length of the neck. It might still be do-able, if you forego the Warmoth bridge drilling and mount the bridge yourself. Easier with a string-through, harder with a tuneomatic. What are you trying to achieve?
