I was wondering what Lacquer everone is using

I have been a Behlens lacquer loyalist over the years.  However I ma getting tired or always having to order it and waiting.

Is there anything that may be able to be used that is available local?  Winwax???

IIRC Gibson uses Sherwin Williams. But that was a while back & things may have changed.
I'd give them a call & see what they say.

I dunno how big of a pain it would be for you to get to, but the Woodcraft store locator indicates they have shops in Downingtown, PA and Wilmington, DE.  They stock Behlens, at least on the west coast.

Woodcraft stocks it here, too. But, I usually end up ordering it from StewMac because they're close enough that I get it the next day. I do need to find another supplier and/or a different brand, though. Stewie charges too much for both the product and the shipping.
