I think I'm done - at least for now

I just added a new pedal to the last spot left on my board (a Zendrive). This now gives me everything I could want, for right now at least. I like to have a selection of different OD/dist. flavors, and so I can stack them in different ways. I'm really pleased with everything on there... it took a while to get here, but I think I'm good to go for a while.

Who can inform me a little about powering pedals? I know there's different requirements for different pedals so how do you go about daisy chaining them if they use different jacks etc?

Most pedals now use the standard Boss type 2.1mm center-negative connectors. I'm currently using a One-Spot power system for all my 9v pedals. It doesn't cost very much, you can expand it's capacity with cheap extenders for an extra bunch of pedals (I'm powering 12 pedals with the One-Spot and have a connector for another if I had room on the board). My only pedal that isn't 9v is the Tube Rotosphere, which has it's own power supply - so I have to plug in two plugs instead of one. There are some pedals that use a different (mmale instead of female) type of connector, like some old DOD pedals. The One-Spot comes with adapters for these. If you have 12v or 18v pedals there are some (ore expensive) power supplies that can power them. Someone else can weigh in on those, as I don't have any experience with them. But I'm completely happy with my One-Spot system; it does what it's supposed to without any noise or other issues I've heard about a bit.

i have a one-spot. it's a nice lil device.  it mostly sits coiled up as i don't use my pedals anymore. worked fine when i used 'em though!

Are you serious, or just having fun with me? Anyway, here's what they do, in order of their wiring on the board: wah > tuner > noise suppressor > compressor/sustainer > Catalinbread WIIO overdrive  pedal > Zendrive OD > Subdecay Super Nova Drive, OD > Leviathan, fuzz > CMATMODS delay pedal > back through Noise Suppressor loop > Dr Scientist digital reverb pedal > Boss DC-2 Dimension C, stereo chorus > Boss stereo tremolo > Tube Rotosphere, tube powered Leslie simulator > two matched Silverface Fender Champ amps.

Completely serious. I can't read some of those fonts.  :icon_jokercolor: Nice setup you got there. I salute you for actually using a stereo setup. Everybody has a couple stereo pedals but lugging around two amps, I'm impressed and I'm sure it sounds fantastic. :icon_jokercolor:
