I shook Linda Manzer's hand today

Here's another photo of my guitar

Very exciting  :)

Seems like it's missing something...

Stickers? Strap pegs? I don't know...

My buddy Joe has an acoustic with a B bender on it. Works well. I'll see if I can get some video of him playing it.

Here's the fingerboard.  It's ebony, but obviously with a little bit of streaking  :)

Nice! Yeah they tend to frown on streaking here in the U.S.  :tard:

Nice board, it has some character which is always preferable. Keep the progress coming!

Now it's "Peggy", eh? Does your wife know about her?

Y'know... I don't see any beer on the bench. I'm not sure this chick is serious. I'll bet she still has all her fingers.

Otherwise, I'm envious. This thing is gonna be a joy.

That girl is really looking sweeeet!!!
And yes, I am green with envy...
:kewlpics: :rock-on:

here's some more photos.  Peggy offers the following text to go along with the shots:

"Hi
I have the neck pretty much carved and have started french polishing the body. I'll be taking it to Toronto with me on Tuesday where Linda will oversee the final neck carve and then I'll move in to fretting, gluing the bridge and making and installing the nut and saddle.
Oh, by the way...your Hoffee case arrived! It's gorgeous!
More next week.
Peggy"

A "grandpa guitar"? Have you ever played a really good acoustic? They're inspiring. The sound is so delicious, songs practically write themselves.
