I'm not really 100% sure about the neck yet, except I want an LP headstock, and (preferably) a '59 profile. Probably raw as well. There was a rosewood/ebony/block inlay in the showcase I liked, but it was standard thin, so I decided to pass on it. Hopefully, something (reasonably affordable) I like will show up in the showcase in the next couple of months.

LPS controls and strat controls are the 2 control options on the WGD page. Not what I would have done, but that's what you get sometimes with a Showcase purchase. I intend to "re-purpose" some of the control holes to get something more to my liking though.

Every once in a while I google "Insane Clown Posse" just to see if a Snopes article has popped up debunking them as a hoax. I'm always disappointed.

Yeah, I'm in no hurry. I need to put a finish on the body, deal with the control routings, and sort out more or less how I want to do the wiring (which will be complex on this build), before I get to the neck stage. I'm expecting it to be a drawn-out step-by-step build, not a quick "bolt it together and go" assembly.

And there's a lot of decisions I haven't finalized yet, and miscellaneous parts to order...

I'm counting on karma to provide me with a neck in the Showcase at the proper time that's, well, just exactly perfect.  :glasses9:
