I just saw Kick Ass

If you like that, you should read the comic.  It's available as a single hardcover graphic novel now, since it was only a short series.  I read it in an hour, it was great!  One of the best I've read recently. 

Mark Millar is also writing a new one called Nemesis that is supposedly already being shopped around to studios to be a movie, and the second issue isn't even out yet.  The first one looked promising, so maybe it will be as good as Kick-Ass.

I know this is wrong on SO MANY levels, but I think I love her. She is the funniest character in years. Any 11year old girl who uses the c-word and then kicks peoples asses wins. She is brilliant!

My sister is 11, so I squirmed during a few moments of that movie.. but yeah, HitGirl was fantastic. And any movie where Nicholas Cage is treated like that is good by me. It could be an hour of an out-of-focus shot of a jar of mayonaise, but if that happens to him.. no spoilers I guess, but I'd watch it.

Hit-Girl is a character in Kick Ass. I would argue that she is THE character in Kick Ass.

Just finnished watching it and it was awesome.

I had to use the bathroom while I was in the theater and the movie had me so hooked I was waying the pros and cons of missing 2 minutes of the movie and possibly wetting myself in public

I had this problem too. I held it, then literally jumped a row of seats with people in them and hauled out the side exit to the alley behind the theater.

I had this problem too. I held it, then literally jumped a row of seats with people in them and hauled out the side exit to the alley behind the theater.

I made it till the scene where kick ass and big daddy were captured and hit girl shows up and kicks ass. when they were plotting there final attack i ran to the restroom and made it back before they got to mobsters place. i figure all i missed was a bunch of weapons getting loaded and maybe the unveiling of the mysterious $300,000 boxed object with the added gatling guns, that until the end was simply described as "soooo coool," or maybe that was a surprise kept for the final attack scene, either way i figured there would be some building up to the final show down so i thought it would be a safe time to go.

i would recommend this to anyone who loves or hates nicholas cage. or anyone who doesn't mind violence. watch it!

the names are stupid but it's not what you think. you haven't seen a movie like this. it's actually pretty disturbing at parts, its not all bad jokes. it's worth checking out but i dont want to get into the plot that much and give things away, i was being vague when i wrote that.
