so here I go. Since 2013 when I started tracking my numbers on spread sheets I have ridden 14,500 miles on my bicycle. It would be higher but I had a surgery that knocked me out for a while in 2016 and a really bad crash this past year that put me out for about 8 weeks. I have lost 46.5 lbs in the past two years and a total of 23 and 3/4 inches off my body.

In October I road my first 100K called the Golden Hills Century and they were not kidding about the hills. This year I plan on doing a 100 mile Century and I would like to ride the road to the top of Mt Shasta. I decided a few years back to be a young man at an old age!  :headbang4:

Keep it up...young at heart and mind!
What type of bike do you ride?  I bet it has a killer paint job :laughing8:

And here I was feeling all proud of myself for finally cleaning up the back yard over the weekend  :toothy12:  Quite an accomplishment, nice work!

Nice. You must feel great with that much excess shed. Unless the 23 3/4" was off your height.

I have a Specialized Roubaix SL4 Expert and it is black, so nothing fancy in the paint department. I have thought it would look really hot if it was painted like Trevor's blue Tele that I did a few years back. I just don't have the ambition to put that much labor into a paint job on a bike. Riding the thing is torture enough!

That is impressive. Riding a bike can be great but some places you gotta have a death wish to ride one. (here in Erie PA it grants you the power of invisibility to motorists.) When I was in Madison WI  it was easy.

Congrats, I would like to do the MS150 one day (if I could save guitar money and put it towards a decent road bike instead). I really needed to see this so I can get back to into marathon shape.

I was not aware of the BP MS150. I checked it out after reading your post and am way impressed with what they are doing. I say go for it!
