While I'm ironing out the kinks in the Bass VI build, I've been finishing four other projects: A hybrid strat made out of parts purchased from forum members (Tele pickups and a P-90 with a Wilk), a Squire Tele Custom (2 P-90s, a Warmoth one [iece Birdseye '59 roundback neck, Sperzels), a 12 string electric (too much to go into, it'll have an epic thread), and this P-bass I just got the neck for.
I apologize for cheesy phone pics, but I was sending these to my wife after round 2 of applying poly, and I felt like a tool for not having posted any of my projects lately. This will be going on a black P-bass body with a blue pearl pickguard. I may route a J pickup later this spring. It's Birdseye/Birdseye with the new thinner neck contour. Yes, I know the decal is slightly off; I did that on purpose so that no one with a brain would ever mistake it for an actual Fender. This will be my first attempt at finishing a neck sorta properly, so wish me luck!
