Humbucker width - 50mm or 53mm?

Hey all,

I'm planning an HSH build  - on a tele-shaped body (although that's where the tele similarities will end).

I'm looking to put Suhr pickups into the guitar: SSH+ (bridge), FL (middle), SSV (neck)

Two questions:
- The Suhr humbuckers are available in either 50mm or 53mm widths. Which width would best fit the routing done by Warmoth?
- The guitar will be rear-routed and I don't want pickup rings - what's the standard way for fixing the pickup to the guitar in this case?

What bridge are you using?

I'll be using the hardtail vintage strat bridge from Warmoth.

BTW: I assume that can be done? ie. getting Warmoth to route the Tele-shaped body for HSH and a strat hardtail bridge?

I think so. Tele Deluxes have a strat-style bridge, IIRC, and they can be routed for HSH.
