question in the title!

When installing a humbucker on a tele with a strat hardtail bridge. how is the fit going to be with the ring and pickguard?

I mean a warmoth guard. I need to know how much work is needed to make it look clean and pro.

I like that one better.

Choosing "Humbucker Tele Bridge" ought to encompass a pup ring very well.

This is my thought, not backed up with experience on the matter.

Been there, done that.  Pretty easy, you need to relieve the corners of the pg cutout a little bit.  Looks fine

it will clear, but will it look like crap?

FWIW, when I got a tele humbucker bridge and had my W pickguard cut to that fit, it was far from being flush and as much as I hate to nitpick, that gap annoyed the hell out of me to look at it.
if you want something that's gonna be flush and look clean, you might want to cut it yourself or get someone experienced to do it for you

He's not talking about a humbucker bridge. He is looking to see how the pickguard fits with a humbucker ring.

its shocking how little this combo has actually been done! I love how it looks on Avrils guitar... I just want one with a body that's not 6 pieces of basswood and black!

honestly. if there was a Fender Avril sig. MIM or better. with a good paint job and decent wood.

I'd be willing to fork a bit.

no, i get that. My point was just that if you order a pickguard from W for one cut or another, it might not be the cleanest, tightest fit, as was my experience with that particular arrangement
