I have a set of gibson classic 57 pickups (not in a guitar) that I want to throw up on ebay. At one point the peter green mod was done to one of them. Their previous owner doesn't remember whether he reversed it. And I don't remember anything about them other than I didn't like them in the guitar they had been in.
How can I tell if I need to flip the magnet back or not? Preferably without splitting the seams of the pickup that was never modified and without putting them back in a guitar.
