Chuck here is a year and a few months old. One of these days I'm going to take off the hardware and do that finish right (so long, orange peel). But there's just something special about this guitar's mojo that makes me afraid to tinker with it anymore.

haha! exactly.. my first one was about 5 or 6 years old. it was a replacement body only, but it got me totally hooked.
I am currently working on numbers 8, 9 and 10

The first Warmoth I built was in 1995, but I own a Warmoth that was made in *I think* 1990.

"Which one?" , indeed. My oldest is a body 5 years old with a Fender CBS neck of dubious vintage. I have bought a couple of bodies at least 10 years old to the best of my knowledge off eBay and used them in builds...

my only warmoth is about 3 weeks old  :icon_biggrin:  i had the parts for 6 months to a year, but never got it all together until very recently. number 2 is on the way! ...i feel like a parent.

thanks! i love every part, but the neck is definitely my favorite. i was afraid a purpleheart neck on a swamp ash body would end up being pretty neck heavy, but it's perfect.

CB I like that thinline guard on the standard body. I almost went that way but couldn't push the button to order that guard.

lol sorry Boston University. i was there the year the Red sox finally lifted the curse and actually won the world series! 2005 was a great year. i left after a year cause the pre med sucked so i went to india and am actually taking my final year med school finals. We just finished our General Medicine exam the last two days tomorrow we have Pediatrics , then surger then OBGYN lol....this is a way for me to blow off steam cause no one else here likes guitars and gear so im all alone  :sad:
