Hi
I have a Warmoth Strat with Schaller Floyd Rose but i don't know how many springs to attach. Sorry for the newb type question.
Regards Chris ???

Three would be the usual amount used by most people for that.

You might check the sticky at the top of this sub forum also useful. Here is a link to it.

A good short article here:

i live dangerously and roll with two sprangs on my trems (or vibratos as some call them). they are motherfriggin buttery smooth (sorry for the coarse language). i've heard tell from many wisened ancients that more springs = more stability, but i say meh.

and my dude no need to 'pologize, we all were newbs at one point. if you want, we can lather each other in chef boyardee and hold hands until we aren't scared any more. i am here 4 u. speaking of fear, why can't the doomsday clock guys turn that baby to Wine 'o Clock so we can all just chill.

As Stratamania said, the usual is three, and then adjust the trem claw to where it needs to be.

That said…springs aren’t all the same tension. I use Xotic Raw Vintage springs (because my ears heard a tone difference compared to the run of the mill stock springs…on an American Strat and also a Charvel), and they are lower tension, so I needed four or five to equal the tension of the usual three, depending on what springs I was replacing. Point being…spring tension isn’t identical from spring to spring, depending on the make.
