How do I order something off menu

Greetings all,

I see a body in the showcase I'm interested in, but want an NFT Floyd recessed route.  When I place the order, I don't see a provision for "notes" to say, "Greetings Warmoth folks, I'd like to get the NFT recessed Floyd route".

Also want to have a Tiltback Strat neck made, but with the headstock shape of a Jazzmaster.

So my Warmoth brethren, any thoughts on how to do this?

I would recommend either emailing or calling sales@warmoth.com to check this prior to placing the order.

There is a "Notes" section at checkout, that can be used to request and upgrade/feature you know is available rather than inquire about availability (e.g. adding a peghead veneer, adding a 5A maple uncharge, not sealing the neck, etc...)

Yep, and NFT Floyd rout will require a call or email. As of today, June 1, we have a full customer service staff for the first time in months. (Wow!) However, they a facing months' worth of a backlog, so you'll have to be patient. It may be a bit before they are able to get to off-menu requests.

Excellent....thank you!

Don't forget if it is a top rout for a NFT the pickguard also needs to match and be made for the NFT...

Appreciate everyone's responses to this question.

Went the easier route and ordered a Hybrid Tele (universal route), Vintage / Modern Warhead roasted maple neck, white pearl pickguard and Wilkinson VS100

PSYCHED!!!!!!!!

This will be a humbucker / trem version of the Tele I built last year.

And now, I must practice patience for the delivery of these parts that will be combined to form MuseCaller........Ohmmmmmmmmmmmm

Once upon a time, there was a lady at the Civilian Marksmanship Program who was known to have a sweet tooth. Many an order for an M-1 Garand came accompanied with a box of chocolates.

Not sure that would fly in a post Coronavirus world.

Luv it!!!!

Can one still get an M1 through the CMP?  Always wanted one.  During the late 80's, I was a later teenager.  Was with my father's family for a gathering.  For whatever reason, my father had an M1 in the trunk.  My grandfather (WWII vet in Normandy) hadn't touched a gun since the war.  He grabbed the rifle and went through a battery of parade drills that blew my mind,.....at almost 80 years old.

fwiw, I'm only just now trying this (ordering something off-menu) so I sent an email, and the intel I got back from Warmoth essentially confirmed that A) I'd done the right thing by reaching out via phone or email first, there was NO WAY they could guarantee a non-standard order would get processed correctly if you just trusted the website to capture your special request; and B) having now reached out in advance, they strongly recommended that I use the Notes section on the web order form -- which only appears during checkout, btw -- to include the name of the Warmoth employee I spoke with and cite the date of that conversation.

Hope it works, 'cuz I just ordered a new off-menu body!
