Sup guys.
I finally received my quilt maple/swamp ash tele body :toothy12: but it seems to have some sort of stain or oil on it? It was already there when I pulled it out of the box, so I'm fairly sure that I didnt do it. Any ideas on how to get rid of it or at least make it less visible?
Also, I have already put on two layers of timbermate grainfiller (natural), the third is drying at the moment. I'm still a little worried that when I get round to dyeing it, it will go splotchy. Is there anything else I can do to prevent the splotchiness, or will it dye evenly just with the three layers of grain filler.
The pictures show the stain, sorry they're a bit dark, it was about 8pm
Thanks, DC
