Holy Mother LOOK at this one!!!

With those big knots and odd grain patterns it looks like it might have some serious weakness at those spots.

HOLY CRAP!

Without a doubt, that is the best looking neck I have ever seen in my life!

If Cocobolo weren't a warm toned wood, I would buy it!

One of the rumors going around is that he soaks the necks in some solution to artificially bring out the figuring only to find out later that it causes the neck to twist.  I dunno if something like that is even possible but there it is.

Oh my Gaaawd!
yes, that is beautiful! but why did he give it an oil finish (is it a hard oil or something like lemon oil)

and yes, I have heard many scary stories about frankenstraaat

He burned me for about $400.

Stay away.

Read all the things on the net. And for once, believe them without reservation.

Yea, I saw that last night...
That is a crazy cocobolo :toothy12:
The same vendor had a very similar cocobolo neck on ebay a couple months ago.
I think it sold for around $600...

That really isn't bad when you think about it.  I think that a strat neck from Fender costs around between 7 and 800.

PHEW!!! I almost bought one of his necks a few weeks ago.....glad I didn't now.  My problem was I got googly eyes when I saw how unique looking the neck was, but it didn't match the look I was going for. Guess I dodged a bullet there!
