Holeless pickup covers?

Do these work?  It seems counterintuitive that they would, but they exist so I can't think that they wouldn't work.  I think they would look pretty cool.

Like that, I suppose. I like the look of no poles.
 
Im sure theyll work, but may darken up the pickup a hair.  I'm a polepiece tweaker though.

these are for pups w/o adjustable pole pieces ie two rows of slugs, no screws or hex's
 
But if the adjustment is done/not needed, is there any reason that it won't physically work.
 
AFAIK there's no reason I can think of that would stop you from making it physically work.  :icon_thumright:
 
Good to hear that they should work.  I think that is what I am going to put on my Blue Flame Maple LP.
 
You'll want to raise the pups up pretty high, because the pole pieces are below the cover.  The cover doesn't block the signal but it does have physical thickness.
