HH Tele Deluxe build grounding question

Hi guys, I got my new tele deluxe body on the way and I'm wondering how to ground it. It's got a hardtail American standard bridge and on the hardtail fender strat build I have, the bridge is grounded to the shielded wood on the control cavity, and another ground wire is soldered to that spot which is then grounded on the volume pot.
What is a good method for grounding the American standard bridge on this Tele Deluxe I'm building? Run the bridge groundwire to the shielded body cavity? Or just run it straight to the volume pot on the pickguard?
In case it helps, the guitar is going to have a Les Paul style control layout.

I would run it to the pot, and ground everything else to the same point.  BTW, there are little solder tabs you can buy that fit on potentiometer shafts:

Originally I thought they were kinda a gimmick, then I used them in a guitar re-wire job and I am sold!  It's a great way to get a solid ground.
