I finally got my in car video working.  Here is me doing a 2:03.1xx at Buttonwillow Raceway.

And here is Pro driver Billy Johnson (my instructor) doing a 1:55.905 in my car:

I hope you like it.

And congrats to Patrick from Davis...nice axe!

cool...what kind of car is it again?  Something with paddle shifter unless you are the fastest down shifter alive!

oh, sweet! Billy is a beast! ^_^

and it's a Nissan GT-R, dual clutch system gear box. neat track, though. I'd love to do some thrashing around there. I've done karting and did a skip barber scholarship shootout a couple years ago. he seems to get on the throttle a lot sooner and brake a bit later than you. also, he's rotating the car everywhere, too. although, he is a pro driver. hehe. good videos, though!

You joined the forum just to comment on this thread that I IM'd you?
Now that you're here, post about the Warmoth plans you told me about! :blob7:

And welcome back DocNrock!

Thanks for the welcome back, guys.  This track thing took me way off tangent.  I just took the car out to the track to see what it could do...and now I am a track addict!    I just wanted to share with you all what I've been doing when I wasn't playing something with strings.

Clutches, tires, and brakes took the wind out of my track sail!  Excellent fun.

Agreed on excellent fun.  I was planning to be at the track this weekend, but found out that after 3 days there I needed new brake pads.  Not to mention that the front tires needed replaced.  Ouch.  Your are spot on, Fdesalvo.
