  My Einglish is bad,sorry!

I like the guitar as PRS,I browsed the warmoth guitar page and found the price of the guitar's body&neck
but I do not know how much of the total price fo the guitar with pickup, bridge,or any parts

in this BBS,anyone has the experience that make a guitar by warmoth? I mean the "whole" guitar. I just want to know the price.

I have sent a E-mail to warmoth, but haven't reveive answer.I have no idea that the stuff can understand my meaning or not.

My favorite guitar style is mahogany body, quilt or flame maple top,24F, with two humbuckers pickup, just like PRS

So...... anyone can help me,please reply,or contact me with MSN:paullvs@hotmail.com

Thank you! Thank you so much.

The price will depend entirely on your choice of pickups and hardware.

We can't give you a definitive cost. You would have to figure out exactly what you want and then add up the prices of all the parts.

They do not make and sell whole guitars, they only sell the bodies and necks separately, and some of the other parts. You have to find the cost of all the various parts yourself, buy them all, and put it together yourself. Hope that clarifies.

+1

They can't sell kits or whole guitars per their agreement.  Warmoth is only "cheap" when compared to PRS, Gibson, or Fender Custom shop prices.  Depending on finish and how fancy you get with extras like binding, neck inlays, premium laminate tops, carved tops, and hardware choices, these are the things that escalate the price real fast.  Most of us came here for the custom options and quality not necessarily looking for a cheaper alternative to the real thing.  You could get out (before shipping to China) as cheap as $800 or as pricey as $1,500+.

It's no accident the name is Warmoth Custom Guitar PARTS and not Warmoth Custom Guitars.

Well, the price will depend on the options you choose and types of pickup etc... But if I were building one the price would look something like this:

VIP Carved Top body Mahogany with Flame Maple Top with recessed controls  $555
Warmoth Finish  Tobacco Burst                                                                      $220
Neck, Wenge with Jet Black Ebony board (no finishreq)                                    $368
Gotog Tune o matic bridge                                                                              $35
Neck plate, CTS pots x3, Strap locks, Pickup rings, 3 way switch
output jack, knobs x3, neck screws                                                                $75
Locking tuners                                                                                              $64
Rio Grande Pickups                                                                                      $165

Total Price                                                                                                  $1482

Of course you can go cheaper by doing your own finish or choosing cheaper hardware, etc...

Hope this helps.

You can probably get all the hardware cheaper than in the USA anyway... its all made in China.

Most importantly - get the good pickups.

My guitar neck was $680, my guitar body was $675, pickups $320, bridge $300, tuners $150, pickguard material another $200 or so (I ordered lots of spares to decide which one), other miscellaneous stuff brings the total to about $3200.

BUT I picked a lot of custom, one-off-type items for my guitar.  If you stick to the showcase and do not use every option, you will spend less money than me.
