Hello everyone..new to the forum but lurking for a while. I'm working on my first Warmoth assembly(not building,Warmoth,Floyd Rose,Seymour Duncan,Schaller, etc.did that..I'm just putting it all together) and I have a question that I'm sure has been asked and answered a long time ago but I can't find it: how did some of you guys get rid of that avoid-a-lawsuit bump on the bottom edge of your arcade/nomad/slapshot headstocks? Did you go to a professional or did it yourselves? Contemplating doing that part myself..can you point me in the right direction?

It can be sanded smooth very easily.  I kind of like it but if you choose to challenge the patent, a sanding block will work well.  Start with 100 and sand to a smooth 220.  If you have any powder sander it will make quick work of it.

BTW...how come every new member uses the exact same AVATAR??

Idk..wasn't aware of that. All the other choices I got when registering were crappy to me lol. Being a part of the 80s metalrock scene I chose Jon...until i figure out my own avatar. And thanks for the advice DMRACO..will use this weekend  :icon_thumright:

I asked a similar question a while back DMRACO, and it appears you don't get to choose your own avatar outside the limited choices you get on startup until you've posted some minimum number of posts.
