He pulled the trigger

I have a bass-playing pal who has been a big Squier fanboy for years, but I've kept preaching Warmoth quality to him. He finally pulled the trigger on an all-Warmoth project that will consist of a swamp ash P-bass body with a black pickguard, and a maple Jazz neck with an ebony neck and pearl blocks (no binding). He'll finish it himself, mostly in clear - but will probably fill the grain with black to make it pop. I'll try to get him to logon and post about it!

That's a good move on his part. Looking forward to seeing what he does with it.

Just to set the record straight, I have had other things besides Squiers.
It's just that lately I've been buying Squier Jazz that have neck issues, fixing them and SELLING them.
By the way, that little Toby went to AirCap...

Very nice line-up there. Congrats on your next one and welcome to the forum.

Al has done good work in the past, and I'm sure he'll do a righteous job with these two. Should be a fine playing axe when complete.
