The majority of the material used is anodized aluminum.
Looks great and stable...

Kind of interesting actually. Characteristic styling can be a good thing! He sounds like he's on drugs though  :tard:

Looks very interesting, but I just can't get past that fudging hideous laser etching work on the bridges.
WTF!?

Those look very cool, but yeah, my guitar is not a billboard. Seymour Duncan is pushing his luck as it is.

I'll definitely be checking that TOM out for my Les Paul build :)

it's a bit expensive though :\

Exactly what I thought too (but forgot to mention, since I'm having One Of Those Days). Very ugly.

Yeah, I would be all over this if it wasn't for the ad on the metal.  I wouldn't mind as much if it just said Babicz without the little R or the pat pending or the Full Contact Hardware label, and if it was in a less in-your-face font like the Bigsby logo.  The hardware itself looks really cool though.

at least the SD logo is removable with a little elbow grease - that giant babicz logo is bad. -  Though it just looks like any old stop bar, I don't see what is special about that part of the thing.

Wow, what's with the extra hole? American standard and vintage style bridges both replaceable?

My main thing with Rio Grandes are the name. That can't be removed, either, I think.

I wanna see the guitar this thing is on.  It looks like an LP with a finish like my Strat.

well, Babicz is known and respected as an acoustic luthier so these are probably pretty high quality. I'm still not sure if transferring vibration to the body is a good thing since I like all of the string energy to stay on the string and drive the pickups...

Have you guys watched those video clips on their website?
After watching them carefully, I'm starting to like it a lot.
The mechanical aspect of the saddles and how they are attached
and fixed to the bridge plate (in tele version) make a perfect sense.

My only concern is the height of these saddles. On some guitars,
you have to set the saddles all the way up to get the right action.
Will the Babicz saddles reach up high enough on such set-up?

....improves tone and sustain....

My BS meter is pegged so hard the needle's bendin'!~

Looks like I'm going to be the odd man out here. I like the logo/writing on the bridge. I'm definitely bookmarking this page for a future build.

I think the screws on that humbucker have seen their better days.  It's a money shot, at least spend the extra buck for new ones.

Interesting concept but I'm a bit skeptical for the price tag.  Also a  big +1 to losing the tailpiece etching, this isn't Nascar.

The stop bar is not the "big deal", it's the saddle bar that's the improvement.

BTW, are we sure it's laser etched? Looks like white silk screen paint to me.
