Hardware Needed?

So I am trying to build a guitar for the first time, but I have literally zero idea for the electronics parts that I will need. I will be using the VIP body from Warmouth, but I do not know what electronics I need. Can someone help and tell me what I will need? Thanks a bunch!

You need to provide a bit more information.

What type and how many pickups do you plan to use?
Active or passive?
How many volumes and tone controls
What type of selector switch / toggle or blade for example.

What would you like the electronics to do, simple pickup selection or also coil splits etc?

I plan on using 2 passive humbuckers, with 1 tone 2 volume and a 3-way toggle, and I don't want coil splitting.

There is some subjectivity in the details but this is what I'd suggest.

2 - 500k Audio Taper Pots (Volume)
1 - 500k Linear Taper Pot (Tone)
1 - .022u Capacitor
1 - 1/4" Mono Input Jack
1 - 3 way Short Toggle Switch
22 gauge stranded wire
Solder

Other than what Vince has already mentioned it might be an idea to get long shaft pots for a rear rout body such as VIP.
