Anyone built their own live-in road cases for their amps and cabs?

Not for the amps and cabs, but for pedalboards, cable cases, and for my tonelab.

For the amps, I honestly don't think it's worth it unless you are either flying or bus touring.  For everything else - Yes do it!

If you have a trailer to haul your stuff, its definately worth it.
My bands other guitarist had them made for all of his stuff. Amps, Heads, and Pedalboard and there are never any unexpected scuffs on his stuff plus it makes loading and unloading the trailer easier because everything is the same boxy shape and can be stacked upon.

If i had 4000 bucks I'd get cases for all my stuff too.
