Happy New Year everybody!!!

WELCOME Back.....!~!~

Hey of course I'm bombastic... Drambuie drinkers are, by their very nature.

Sherman, set the wayback machine to the year 1746..... Ol Charlie Stuart gets his butt kicked royaly when his Jacobites go to King George and say Hanover the kingdom to us!  Didn't work.  So he got the idea for Drambuie, and with a Skye in his eye, gave it to some sod with a boat, who'd get him out of Dutch.  Charlie thought that rather than being hung over his actions, he'd rather be ferried over the seas, eventually landing in Italy.  The rest is, as they say in that Frenchie-French place, la histoire.

What is seldom told, is that once in Italy, rather than sit around and sulkie, Charlie Stuart, gained a love for Italian harness racing, inventing the Dramborghini, an advanced and sleek racer for its day.  This led to a long lineage of Stuart racers, most recently noteworthy being Jackie Stuart, who was forced to mis-spell his name "Stewart" in order to recieve is OBE for Formulae d'Uno racing.
