Not sure if this is allowed, since these aren't Warmoth bodies.. but, if it helps.. Warmoth necks were eventually attached. lol

A buddy if mine in Alabama used to build guitar bodies under the name of Southeast Guitars.  He eventually moved on to building entire guitars as well as parts, but not sure if he's even in the business any more as I haven't talked to him in quite some time.  I recovered these pics out of my old Photobucket account of the build process of these bodies into guitars and thought I would share.  At the beginning, my buddy didn't have the ability to do a "bent top" so it was suggested to do a "half and half" body so that the forearm contours could be cut and not get into the back wood.  The result is what you see below.  Most of these pics are during the finishing stage (tung oil), but there are a few of the raw wood before it was book matched, etc..

Sorry about the bathroom shots but at the time, the spare shower was my chosen place to hang the bodies while they dried. lol

Nice work. I wish I had a couple of those slabs of wood now... :headbang:

Thanks, but I can't take credit for those bodies!  That was 110% my buddies fine handywork.

If I remember correctly, that slab of Claro was around $300..
