Had to dig my way into the Mayfly shop this morning.

Actually I love it. Playing in the snow is the best thing ever. The snow is so reflective that everything seems to be bright and in extra high resolution. And it's not that cold - you can totally walk out in jeans and a t-shirt (as long as you don't stay out too long mind you...)

I like going to CO on vacation to play in the snow, then come back to Texas for the 40 - 50 degree sunny winter days where I can still ride the motorcycle to work…..😉. However I would also rather be there all summer when it’s 105 here.

Oh Man, now that does look awesome ! I have a friend in our MN location that I talk to on the phone often, and he has told me about the Snowmobile trails in Winter that go between pubs and restaurants and such. Bar hoping on a Snowmobile, now that's cool !!

It's the same where I live. It's snowy and cold, but the dry humidity makes it easy to bear.

When I lived in WA, if the temp got below 40 you had to put extra blankets on the bed and wear long pajamas, and get out your fleece and gortex. Here in UT, it is in single digits at night and we go to bed in shorts. If the sun is shining, you can walk around outside in regular clothes and be fine (as long as you don't stay out too long mind you...)

Utah? I thought you moved to Georgia.

In south louisiana, I wear long johns if the temperature is predicted to be below 40

In Texas when it gets really cold a few weeks a year, it is pretty miserable. This week has been unusaully cold, in the teens at night and not above freezing for 3 days. And we’re not made for it, everything starts breaking……

Utah? I thought you moved to Georgia.

I did, for a couple years. Long enough to get a real taste of the south and have some mighty fun adventures.

Then I moved to Utah. From 10 feet elevation and 60% humidity to 5000 feet elevation and 25% humidity.

My guitars love me.

I had some Merrell Moab lightweight shoes once, so I feel like I have been there.
