I am planning on running these on my VIP build, but was curious if anyone here had tried them and what they thought?  I am running Schaller locking tuners on my strats, and love em...but have always liked the feel and look of the grovers.  They appear to operate the same as the schaller locking tuners, with the twist knob to lock the string in.  Makes string changes fast when playing live.

Now I am worried I ordered the wrong peg ream on my neck.  I ordered the one listed as grover, but it appears the grovers are actually smaller than what warmoth says...can anyone shed some light on this??

Hi!
I can't speak for the Warmoth Grover size tuner reams, but I got a neck I from USACG with grover tuner reams, and the RotoGrips fit perfectly. I don't see why Warmoth would bother to drill wrong sized holes if they mark them as Grover size holes? Just my 2 cents

Other than that, I have to say that I am very happy with the RotoGrips, they work very well, are precise and they seem sturdy.

Spike told me that Stew-Mac doesn't know jack about the size of reams required for the various tuners they supply. . . he was certainly right about the difference between the ream for the Schaller locking tuners I bought and the size they said they were on their site (a hole a full 32nd of an inch too big, the tuners would have rocked back and forth in there ugh)

overall I'd trust Warmoth's QC over Stew-Mac's
