iam done with the guitar iam making but i have no idea of how to ground the pick ups ???? iam at the point where every thing is working and the groundings of them are connected to the volume pot back ,but where should i connect the wire coming out of the back ?? as i cant reach any metal hard ware

One end of wire to ground and the other sits under the hard tail bridge.

Here ya go have a read. http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic=11057.msg150339#msg150339

Is it a Tele or a Strat we are talking about  :dontknow:
The more info we have the easier it is to help you.

If it's a Tele, go from under the bridge, then into bridge pickup cavity, then into control cavity.

thx for the help every one,i actually took a tiny drill and went through from under the bridge straight to the cavity and the set a wire under the bridge as a ground and it works great

ok i found out a bit of a problem,i connected it to the bridge and the noise has reduced alot, but still if i put my hand on the cavity the noise is gone ,as if the grounding i did isnt taking all the noise ,just a part of it . ichanged the wires but  still the same :/ what now ?

You don't say what kind of pickups they are...

If they're single coils, there's always going to be a certain amount of noise present.

invader pick up and SH-1 pick up maybe i will upload pictures later, but do you guys have a clue why wont the normal grounding take all the noise out? while putting my hand will
